Dr.Antonio Andreini (M) is Associate Professor at the Dept. of Industrial Engineering (DIEF) of the Univ. of Florence.
He got his PhD in 2004 with a thesis about numerical modelling of turbulent premixed flames. He is responsible of all the research and consultant activities in the field of numerical modelling at the HTC-group. He has participated to more than 15 EU research programs, and to several R&D programs funded by the industry. Since 2008 he has supervised or co-supervised over 20 PhDs.
He has been member of PhD jury defense in several EU Universities and he runs academic research collaborations with some important Universities and Research Centers. He is currently coordinating a MSCA-ITN (INSPIRE – www.inspire-etn.eu), and two Horizon RIA projects (TRANSITION – www.transition-horizon.eu, FFLECS – www.fflecs.eu). He is author of more than 230 papers, all published on peer reviewed journals or at international conferences and he holds editorial roles in prestigious journals.
